Virginia Tech® home

VeTZone

The VeTZone is operated by the Office of Veteran Services to help military-affiliated students feel welcome on campus. The space can be used to study, relax, , work on assignments and connect with other members of the military-affiliated community on campus. The space is particularly convenient for student veterans living off campus who need a space between classes. The VeTZone houses couches, easy chairs, books and a wall-mounted TV for relaxing. Desks, chairs and a printer are available for studying and classwork. There’s also a mini fridge and a microwave for students to use.

The VeTZone is open to the Virginia Tech military-affiliated community which includes Virginia Tech students who are veterans, active-duty, drilling reservists and National Guard and military dependents. It is located in Room 300 of the Johnston Student Center. Access to the space is based on the Johnston Student Center hours of operation.
